there is a show called "La Academia" in mexico. It’s like a school of singing, but to become a singer… they have to have therapy, acting classes, exercise class, dancing classes, choreography… and they still are not that great, in my opinion they suck, even the ones that have won in previous "GEnerations"( Academia 1, 2, 3, 4) are pretty average singers. while American Idol singers don’t do anyof that , they just sing, and are 100 times way better. I have a feeling the producers just choose average joes while casting.. and that’s why they are not good. or there is not much talent in mexico?
thats a matter of opinion ese personally i find some guys from la academia awesome and some from american idol not that good

My name is Jo Ann, and I’m a singer, and I write poetry, but I can’t write a song. I either end up writing only a chorus, or the first verse. I need a lyricist soon, because I don’t want to keep singing a song that is already famous, like everybody else does. I want to be different. If you want to contact me, contact me at:
Email: trulyunique15@gmail.com
MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/trulyunique15
I don’t want to write your songs for you, but I can give you tips on how to write songs: 1) use personal experience (crushes, fights, family etc.)
2) it doesn’t have to rhyme, just have rhythm
3) don’t be afraid to express yourself
4) Be yourself
Hope that helps
I want to use some of Clotilde’s embroidery patterns, and Jo-Anns is having a decent sale on Singer. But what about Brother? Help?
I prefer Brother or Babylock and I would suggest buying from a dealer if you have never used a sewing machine – the embroidery machine has some similarities.
If you do not buy from a sewing machine dealer, try the Singer – it should connect via cable to your PC and this is where you will store designs and then send to the embroidery machine.
You choose designs by the format of the embroidery machine and the the hoop size. Watch this when downloading.
An embroidery machine that has a maximum embroidery area of 4 x 4 will not stitch a design that is larger.
The least expensive method to obtain designs is downloading from the Internet to the computer, then send to the embroidery machine as you want to stitch out a design.
Methods for sending designs to an embroidery machine:
Memory card only (you will need a reader box and card compatible with the brand/model of the machine.
Memory card and USB cable (connects directly to the PC)
Memory card, USB cable and USB flash drive.
The more options, the more expensive the embroidery machine.
Clotilde does not sell machine embroidery designs.
Each of the two books listed in her catalog has a CD with free designs, which you upload to your PC. You cannot just stick these CDs into an embroidery machine and start stitching.
You have to have a method (reader box/card, cable or flash drive) of getting the designs from the PC to the embroidery machine.
The designs at Nancy’s Notions are her choices, but they are Amazing Designs products.
http://www.amazingdesigns.com/en/products/
There are many Internet sites that have free designs you can download to your PC.
Once you get an embroidery machine, you may find this site helpful – http://www.annaboveembroidery.com/embroidery-tips.html

I’ve seen it in the internet, in the streets, in schools and my community.
So someone, maybe another Mexican- tell me why do some Mexicans hate Asians, if you disagree about my question then you should search for your own to know, Mexico has some good people but I guess the other some "the red neck" kind of population of mexicans- do provoke on hate, im not being racist or anything, but it just raises an eyebrow- why do latinos think asians as inferior?
Ichiro Suzuki is good looking?
Yao Ming is pretty tall?
William Hung was a great singer!
Jo koy and Steve Byrne are awesome comedians
Keannu Reeves too
It’s all in the research, you’ll get what I’ll say and there would be nothing that can raise an aggression, im just simply questioning.
It comes up with all the stereotypes but stereotypes will live forever, the only thing you can deal with it is to act mature and your immune to any let downs, be who you are and what you are, personality matters the most not outside the book
I’m Mexican-American but I really like Asians. I think that you guys are very intelligent, crafty, and hard-working with good morals. I also think that you guys possess a lot of ingenuity. So I’m not really sure why. But I can understand why you say this. You have probably been offended and such by a Mexican for your race. Yeah, it does seem as if the Mexicans from the country would say something like that. But I mean, one must be pretty ignorant to say such things, so do not pay them any mind.
People like that grew up with hard childhoods, not to mention that likewise these days Mexicans have to deal with a lot of racial hate and prejudice. It makes them fight back and it makes them insensitive to the feelings of other nations. I mean, even some people on here are insulting Mexicans. I personally love being Mexican and would never want to change who I am. I’m sorry if Mexicans have said ugly or ignorant remarks about your race. Not everyone is like that and I hope that you can be proud of what you are no matter what people say. In many people;s eyes your ethnicity has a good reputation. So yeah, I don’t really know what to say besides that, but I hope that I helped in some ways. You can’t fight some people, their hate and ignorance will never change, because they don’t want it to and they like wallowing in their hate and bitterness.
By ignoring them, you should allow yourself to be joyful and successful. Conquer whatever it is that you want to be yours and in reality your facial features and skin tones or whatever only go so far, if you want something bad enough you can persevere though whatever obstacles, like racists, that you encounter. Plow them down man. Well not literally, but I mean they can’t touch you if you don’t let them. Don’t bring yourself down to their level, keep your chin up and by doing that you can keep a dignified reputation. Sometimes that’s all you have, your reputation. So if you become angry and resentful and start fighting away at everything, you’ll lose sight of your goal and fall to the exact same level as everyone else who you never wanted to be like.
I can’t give you a totally clear, exact explanation. Human nature, humans themselves, are complicated. There is always a cause for things that you don’t see or notice, an underlying motive or emotion, things are not always what they appear to be. I wouldn’t be able to give you a perfect answer because in order to figure this out one would have to go deep into the roots of racism, human prejudice, and the like, which would be impossible due to where we are at now. We will only be able to solve this problem if everyone would participate and want to, but unfortunately not every one does. So the rest of us will have to get through it in the meantime. But that doesn’t mean that we have to suffer through it, you can definitely come out on top and there is no need to fear mere man. There is only so much that another human being can do to you. As you can see, people can be rude, distasteful, and just plain ignorant. So why would you let them get you down? They’re lame anyways.
So yeah, just don’t worry about it too much. You just need to get by and like I said before plow them down and get where you want to go. They can go ahead and drown in their mistakes and misconceptions. Just make sure to not turn out like them.
