  • What is the fastest way to become a better singer?

Posted by admin on February 4th, 2010 and filed under singer | 3 Comments »

some easy but very effective exercises. Is it true you can become a great singer by just singing along with popular songs(a lot)

Sing from your diaphragm, not your throat. You should be inflating your belly not your chest when you breathe. When you sing a note, picture the note being pushed out of your belly button (and actually push like its doing that as well) sounds weird but it works!

You have to have a third remote. That remote is for the microphone. Just push the A button and voila!

What are the chances of non-koreans becoming a korean singer?

Posted by admin on December 4th, 2009 and filed under singer | 5 Comments »

I am a non-korean (specifically Vietnamese) and I am almost sixteen. What are the chances of passing korean auditions and becoming a korean singer? I can sing and dance pretty well.

I’m Korean and I’m just gonna be honest with you and tell you that it won’t be very easy. It’s already really hard for the Koreans, and I bet you that it’d be twice as hard for non Koreans. Entertainments such as SM actually takes trainees at the age of 7-10 and trains them until they’re in their early twenties to actually debut them as singers. It’s not impossible though. There are non Korean singers in SM such as the Chinese member in SJ and Thai member in 2PM, but they’re both pretty fluent in Korean. To make debuting in Korea as a possibility you have to be at least fluent in Korean. I hope this helped. Good luck to you!

What folk singer has a song with the lyrics about not having a house but always being at home?

He is a male folk singer and the song is about living in a few different places but always being home.

Actually, that’s Billy Joel’s "You’re My Home", which has an acoustic guitar feel to it.

How long does it take to become a good singer?

Posted by admin on November 8th, 2009 and filed under singer | 1 Comment »

Last year, I had started singing lessons and continued them for about five months until I had to take about a six month break for money reasons. I recently (2-3 months) started up again, and my instructor told me I came back a stronger and clearer singer. Also, my friends tell me I’ve improved. However, I feel I’m not getting any better. I know it takes a lot of practice and time, but how long? How long did it take you until you were satisfied with your singing voice? Maybe I’m just self-conscious? Or maybe I need a different teacher?

your either good or not#could take years of hard work,,,,,,,,,,

What was that swedish band where the lead singer killed himself and the band threw his brains in the audience?

Posted by admin on November 3rd, 2009 and filed under singer | 3 Comments »

And then the audience killed all the band members because they got so mad. And the lead singer ate poop on stage.

That never happened. Although Death, from the Norwegian black metal band Mayhem, did shoot himself (offstage) and his band mate Euronymous (who has since been murdered) made necklaces from the pieces of his skull. True story.

Does anyone know how I can become a singer and an actress like some Disney stars?

Posted by admin on October 29th, 2009 and filed under singer | 1 Comment »

I am a 15 year old girl and my dream is to become a famous singer and an actress like Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, or Selena Gomez. I love to sing and act. I just need and want some help. I want to be a singer and an actress before I turn 16. I just turned 15 on May 20th. I just need some help and advice on how to become a singer and an actress on Disney Channel, Big Machine Records, or Hollywood Records. Thanks.

Keep an eye on the corporate Disney auditions page.

If you can travel to an audition, or if it comes near to you, you should go try out! Be confident, and be yourself, that’s what Disney looks for. Hopefully you’ll get a call back, and will be on your way to becoming a Disney star!

How much should I charge to accompany an opera singer?

Posted by admin on October 27th, 2009 and filed under singer | 3 Comments »

A singer wants me to play the piano for an upcoming audition; we would have some rehearsals first, as well. She has asked how much I will charge, but I have no idea. What’s a reasonable hourly rate or flat figure these days?

When I was working on an audition piece, I gave the collaborative pianist $20-25 for each half hour rehearsal and $50 for the audition itself.

How much would it cost to hire a popular singer for my birthday party?

Posted by admin on October 25th, 2009 and filed under singer | 4 Comments »

    Hi

I am not 16 until September 2011 but I want to hire a famous singer for the party (someone that is as famous then as Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus or Taylor swift right now – obviously I don’t know who will be famous then yet). Has anyone got any estimate of how much it’d cost? It would be a party of about 1-200 people in the UK.

    I don’t mind $ or £ figures. Thanks!

    I think anywhere around $18,000 – $42,000
