this is because Akon’s definition of good singing is piecing together swear words with music and calling it a song. Carries song have a deep meaning and are fun to listen to. sometimes they tell a good story.

His music has a very tropical feel to it and the lush, colourful, locations used in his videos are always well suited to his music. Does he shoot some in the Caribbean? The other thing is that some of the pop music I’ve heard on visits to Kenya and Zambia sound like either his music is influenced by Africa or some African musicians are influenced by him. I’m not saying this is the case, just that it sounds like it. I think he’s American though. But I wanted to ask because I’m not sure.
