I have friends that I grew up with. When they were 9 or 10 they didn’t have the greatest of voices (horrible.) But now, they’re amazing because some of them have moms that are professionals and helped them become AHMAZING! Litterally. So I was wondering how to become a better singer besides taking classes. Thank you.
first off all you need perseverance if you want to be a better singer. If you don’t have this, you won’t achieve being one.
I don’t really think singing lessons would help. All they do is let you sing over and over again and tell you what’s wrong. My mom’s a music teacher and she’s the one who told me this.
If you think you’re voice is good, then I suggest you sing first with a couple of friends, then sing infront of a group, then work your way up.
This will increase your self-esteem. Trust me, that’s how I also started.

Join a choir. Community college choirs or church choirs. Then, look for opportunities to do solo work.
Listen to really good singers and emulate them.
Learn musicianship skills like sight singing and ear training (you need classes and regular practice to get good at these skills)
